On Creativity.
I was reading something which stemmed from a link on Ben's blog about autism that was trying to measure a 'Creativity Quota'. Because creativity is hardly something that can really be measured quantitatively; they had a few little tests they did. One of which was to give the subject an object and the subject had to come up with as many uses. So I give this to you. Start listing the uses of a piece of paper. Although they must be different uses. For instance drawing and sketching are using the paper in the same way.
Now, in other news. Myself, Ben and Scotty stayed up until 6am this morning drinking copious ammounts for a tuesday. I was playing the stupid vb games I made years ago and came accross an alpha version of my who's line game I was making. Ironically enough, despite the scoring system the points didnt matter since a bug just msgboxed us with a '0' then didnt score. After playing that for quite a while, making up very wrong songs, myself and ben progressed onto downloading a heap of rap beats and having rap battles... It was quite possibly the weirdest idea i've ever had.

...
ok this can just goes on and on, and I can't sit here doing this all day.
Hrm, I was thinking, if we reduce possible uses back to a sort of... 'generalised metatask' then we'll end up with a fairly short and probably quite finite list. Works for everything else just the same of course.
Let's see, we've got...
- Communication
- Construction
- Consumption
- Artistic
- Exprimentation
- Destruction
Anything that doesn't fit in to those?
ok... well I was looking looking for something in between both answers. Though bens is kinda what I wanted. Like things you wouldnt normally use a piece of paper for. Just grouping all possible uses for any item isnt really being creative.
Paper is indeed quite useful. Except i personally wouldnt like to use it as cheap ugly wallpaper :P
