Should I ask someone to a movie or not?

Nothing to lose man, I say go for it.
I'd go for the coffee thing, less commitment than a movie.
everyone is ever so up for the idea when its not them doing it :(. I don't drink coffee and starbucks is evil. But yeh i know its something a little easier to agree to for someone. No... i'm scared
If you want to do something like the coffee idea you could perhaps try Gloria Jean's, I believe they have plenty of drinks 'n stuff that aren't coffee.
Yeah do Gloria Jeans. I hate Starbucks, spawn of satan.
Why don't you find out something more than their name and job first?
"Getting coffee" doesnt mean you have to get coffee... you could go to a resauraunt/bar place and get any sort of arbitrary drink/munchee.
The point is to keep it casual and informal.
Its like in Good Will Hunting(awesome movie), they go get a bunch of caramels together.
Because it is quite hard to figure out more than that ben without arranging some kind of social interaction
